Paper manufacturing

Cargill Industrial Starches has a big commitment to the paper industry. Currently more than 100 professionals actively work in the sector to offer a portfolio of appropriate products for mass applications, surface treatment and coating.

These days the paper and cardboard manufacturing industries use starches not just as binders, but also to increase rigidity, internal and superficial resistance of the finished products, from printing and writing paper to packaging and packing paper and cardboard.

Our clients can currently choose from an extensive range of starches made from corn, wheat or potato, as well as modified and cationic starches for treating pulp, for spray applications, surface treatments and coating with pigments.
